Gold is metallic, with a yellow color when in a mass, but when excellently separated it may be black, ruby, or purple. Your density numbers have no units, so they are unusable.

If the numbers you give match to the densities of the given metal in g/ml or kg/L, it should be gold.

Density = mass/volume, so:

96.5g/5ml = 19.3 g/ml. So the answer is 19.3 gold.
