H2O, or water, in the form of water vapor, is a very strong greenhouse gas. Water vapor is part of a feedback loop where as the temperature increases, so does the water vapor, basically creating its own system where more water vapor is constantly being applied as a greenhouse gas to the atmosphere by its own evaporation into the atmosphere.
