The result of Opium wars was Treaty in Nanking which states that Chine has to open more ports to Europeans to trade and travel. Opening many trading posts all throughout the country, along the coast and rivers, Europeans could sell all manner of things, not only opium. China’s boarders being open also attracted Christian missionaries which resulted in Taiping Rebellion costing millions of lives.
