any help is appreciated :) here's the question: is the relationship between the side length of a square and the area of the square an example of a function, explain.

Area of a square = l x w

To find the area of a square you multiply the side length, and as we know the length and width of a square is the same, so the relationship between the side length and area is that the side length determines the area of a square.

An example is if the sides = 6

6 x 6 = 36

So the area would be 36

When you have the area of a square, you find the square root of the number to determine the side lengths

An example would be A = 49
The square root of 49 is 7 so, so the side length is 7.
