The scientific revolution was a period of time where science began developing because people became more interested in how things worked and didn't just accept them as they were. It was extremely revolutionary because it enabled for medicine to develop drastically which lengthened the life-span of people and it made it possible to develop technology that would make life easier and spur the growth of industry through manufacture.
