The Reconstruction Amendments which consist of the 13th, 14th and 15th amendments specifically helped to address voting rights, slavery and citizenship. Overall, these three amendments were  created with aim to provide equality for black Americans. This establishment forced the American government to care for and respect all citizens accordingly.
