Lady Macbeth makes up an excuse to the guests at the banquet saying that his odd behavior was something he’s suffered from since his youth. As Macbeth continues to speak about Banquo’s ghost, Lady Macbeth scolds him for being scared, saying that he should be entertaining their guests and to just ignore his hallucinations.
