Ammonia is a gas with molecules formed by one nitrogen atom and three hydrogen atoms joined together by three covalent bonds. The geometry of ammonia is as a result of orientation of the bonds which consists 4 pairs ( 3 pairs and one lone pair). The bonds angle between two hydrogen atoms is 107 degrees because the atoms are repelled by the lone pair of electrons on the Nitrogen atom
