What tactics did the colonists use against the British troops on their march back.

The colonists had a few tricks up their sleeves in order to fight the British troops during their march to Boston from Concord. Colonists would hide and fire at the British as they marched in the open along the road. This would catch them by surprise which gave the colonists the upper hand.
