Explain what colonists meant when they said “NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION ”

England was racing the colonies without out letting having a vote Parliament was the one deciding on the taxing and the colonists didn’t hav any representation, so the were being taxed unfairly without representation.

They meant that if England was going to tax them, then they deserved to be represented properly to the English government. Bare minimum, they desired to send representatives to Parliament.
