There are many effects that these type of conflicts have on a country, and these are largely negative.

Social conflict often leads to civil unrest, as a group feels particularly disadvantaged and tries to ask for equality. However, such unrest can often escalate to violent protests and even civil war. Economic conflicts can create many problems as well. They can make it impossible for industries or markets to operate regularly. This can make it difficult for people to survive, or to engage in economic activities. Finally, religious conflicts can divide society as well as create resentment and persecution among different groups in society.
