Hydroboration-oxidation an acid catalyzed hydration of an alkene will lead to the same product when applied to the alkene below

Product will not be the same because hydroboration-oxidation follows anti-Markovnikovs rule and acid catalyzed hydration follows Markovnikov's rule.
Markovnikov's rule - hydrogen becomes attached to the carbon with more hydrogen substituents, and the OH group becomes attached to the carbon with more alkyl substituents.
