At stage 3 of mitosis, the nucleus divides.How are the chromosomes arranged?

the third stage of mitosis is metaphase. in this stage the chromatin already condensed to form a chromosome. so the chromosomes arranged in inorderly manner unless spindle fiber appear to form vertically.
