Julius Caesar did many things that increased his popularity with poor and working-class Romans. For instance, he granted citizenship to people living in Rome's territories and he gave land to the poor. However, the most profound thing that he did was that he created new jobs, which meant new opportunities for the Romans. Hope this helped!
