1.x(30,000)=2x
2.x + 2x=30,000
3.30,000x=x+2x

The answer is 4. Let’s say x is equal to 7.5. The price of the first 2 cars were they same price and that price being x. Therefore the third car price is double the first meaning it is 2x. The last equation shows a proper mathematical equation.
