We all have an idea about the meaning of the word civilization,a concept that we use to relate to a complex, advanced society like the current one on Earth.but also ancient cultures which flourished centuries ago, leaving us with a marvellous legacy.

Civilization is characterized by urban development, social stratification imposed by a cultural elite, symbolic systems of communication eg writing, and perceived separation from and domination over natural environment.

The term civilization involves a wide range of aspects related to society and to the several fields that can be found inside of it, such as: culture, education, science, technology, industry, government and so on. These factors influence the organization and development of a city or country, due to the fact there are some socio-politic and economical characteristics that need to be taken into account in order to assure the appropiate configuration of a civilization. Therefore, it is necessary to keep in mind people's behavior and social norms, to identify what are that society's costumes and how the civilization would be formed.
