A picture 10 1/4 ft long is to be centered on a wall that is 14 1/2 ft long. How much space is there from the edge of the wall to the picture??? Solve the problem arithmetically!!!! Plz I will give you 100 points

The picture covers 10 1/4 ft of the 14 1/2 ft. So the uncovered space is

14 1/2 - 10 1/4 = 14 2/4 - 10 1/4 = 4 1/4
