Baby Boomers or Baby Boom Generation are people that were born worldwide between the years 1946 and 1964. They are called so because the number of births increased dramatically during those years. It happened due to the increase in material wealth of the parents thus making having children financially affordable. It had also to do with the end of the Second World and the new achieved political stability.

Generation X or Gen X refers to the generation of people born after the Baby Boomers and before the Millennials ( 1965 -1981 ). They are mainly known for their feeling of being ignored or neglected. They have a strong sense of independence, value freedom and oppose many forms of government and authority.
