A smoker that quits smoking is less likely to have a heart attack than if they continued to smoke. Their is less of a chance of blood clots in the heart.

Once a person quits smoking, there will be many benefits to the cardiovascular system. These include, providing your heart enough blood to pump to your body, leading to better body function and a normal blood pressure rate. Overall, there are many benefits for a person who quits smoking.
