The Silk Road was able to exist for so long due to the demand of Chinese exports. This ancient route not only circulated goods, but also exchanged the splendid cultures of China, India, Persia, Arabia, Greek and Rome

Its biggest impact was on the spread of Buddhism. Because of the Silk Road, Buddhism began to appear in Central Asia and even China.
