iron is much denser than a feather. yet a particicular sample of fathers weighs more than a simple of iron. explain how this is possible

Density and weight are two completely different things

The density of the feathers or iron cannot change however the weight can.

So even if the weight of the feathers was higher the density of the iron will always be higher than the density of the feathers.
