so for example lets say the fractions are 1/4 and 2/3

you would multiply them to make the eqution look like this-
(1)/(4)·
(2)/(3)

so then you would cross simplify, since 2 is a factor of 4 we will factor them out, so itll look like this=


(1)/(2)·
(1)/(3)

then you multiply the denominator with denominato and numerator with numerator, so the answer is 1/6
