Niles is the editor-in-chief for the paper. He takes his job very seriously and makes sure to set firm deadlines for all the section editors. It is his responsibility to make sure all aspects of the school are being represented in the paper, and he often has to assign newspaper staff to cover things they are not interested in. He makes sure all the other editors are on track with their assignments and follows up before deadlines.

He is an example of a Respectful Enforcer. He enforces the rules and doesn't let the employees use and abuse him. If he was an outright peacemaker he probable would back away from assigning staff stories they don't want.
