Both the Hittites and the Aryans come from what today is southern Russia. The Hittites are believed to have started their expansion from the area near the Sea of Azov which is located in the southern border of Ukraine and Russia. While the Aryans or Indo-Iranians are speculted to come from the north of the Caspian Sea, geographical area nowadays shared by Kazakhstan and Russia.
