Anaphora is a rhetorical device which is mainly used to emphasize ideas and to make the text more memorable and pleasurable to the audience. In addition to this, this device is very useful in order to appeal to the reader emotions, to motivate and inspired them. It can be the repetition of a single word or a phrase. As an example, Dr Martin Luther King jr used this rhetorical divece in his speech: "I have a dream".
