The philosopher whom Voltaire sympathetically represents in Micromegas is Locke. Micromegas is a novel written by Voltaire in 1752. an example of scince fiction, and a significant contribution and development in the history of literature. The story is about visiting the Earth by beings from a planet circling around Sirius. A satirical vision of the human concept of philosophy is presented, showing how the visitors laugh at the humans, and their perception of man as the center of the universe, especially when they hear philosophical thinking of St Thomas Aquinas . However, the most sympathetic point to the philosophy of Locke .

By the way, this book was considered heresy at the time.
