Contrast the precipitation amounts of the biome with the greatest precipitation with those of the biome that had the least precipitation.

The Tropical Rain-forest biome receives 66 inches of rain a year. The Desert biome receives less than 10 inches, or 25 centimeters, of precipitation a year.

The precipitation amount is maximum in the tropical rainforest biome and least in the desert biome.

The average rainfall in the tropical rainforest biome is not less than 66 inches and it can exceed 390 inches. Although the precipitation lies between 69 inches to 120 inches.

The desert biome has least precipitation and it remains hot throughout the year.this biome receives less than 10 inches of rainfall in year. The precipitation received in this biome can be in the form of snow.
