Stone tools helped early people cultivate land and hunt easier because they lasted longer and were more durable than wooden tools. The printing press made information easier to spread and helped people who couldn’t afford hand written books to learn to read. The invention of the car really helped people in the 1920s because it made living outside of the city possible, even with a job in the city. The automobile made it possible to get places faster and to live farther from the busy city.
