4. Based on your knowledge of how the greenhouse effect works, why does the level of carbon dioxide affect the global temperature?

Carbon dioxide and other pollutants in the air accumulate in the atmosphere creating an increasingly thick layer. It captures more heat from the Sun, and as a result, our planet heats up much more,a s if it were a greenhouse.

WHY? Because it's a pollutant gas
