Competitors who sell similar products using similar marketing plans are known as Strategic Groups of Competitors.

If there are companies who sell same products and have almost same marketing plans in the same industry, they are said to be the Strategic group of Competitors.

These are the companies having similar objectives, strategies, plans and goals and they are operating in the same industry. These firms are competing with each other. So they are called the strategic group of competitors.
