y = 4/5 x +8

Explanation:

point slope form of a line is

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

m = 4/5 (since it is parallel is has the same slope)

point (0,8)

y-8 = 4/5(x-0)

y-8 = 4/5 x

add 8 to each side

y = 4/5 x +8

this is now in slope intercept form

the y intercept is 8
