By the given diagram,

The vertex of the parabola along to the y-axis = (0,0)

By substituting these values in the above equation,

We get,


y=a(x-0)^2+0


\implies y = ax^2 --------(1)

Now, again by the given diagram the parabola is passing through the point (-4,-1),
