For each balloon game you win at the fair, you get 5 tickets. Jamal won 9 balloons games. Gary won 6 balloon games. Do they have enough tickets altogether for a prize that is worth 100 tickets?

Answer

Find out the do they have enough tickets altogether for a prize that is worth 100 tickets .

To prove

For each balloon game you win at the fair, you get 5 tickets.

Jamal won 9 balloons games.

Thus

Total number of tickets Jamal have = 9 × 5

= 45 ticket

Gary won 6 balloon games.

Total number of tickets Jamal have = 6 × 5

= 30 ticket

Total number of ticket Jamal and Gary have = 45 + 30

= 75 tickets

No, they do not have enough tickets altogether for a prize that is worth 100 tickets .
