To find slopes, the formula is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

What this means is that you subtract the y-value of one equation from tho other, and do the same with x-values. However, you have to subtract from the same equation each time.

In this situation, I would subtract (-2, 3) from (3, 4)

4-3=1

3-(-2)=5 due to negative negative making a positive.

So now we do 1 divided by 5 and get 1/5 (One-fifth)
