Answer: No, we cannot find for its length as we can see that variables got cancelled so, we are not able to find any value for 'y'.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Let length of room's floor be y

Let width of a room's floor be y-5

Perimeter of room's floor be 4y+1

As we know the formula for " Perimeter of rectangle ":

Perimeter=2(Length+Width)\\\\Perimeter=2(y+y-5)\\\\4y-1=2(2y-5)\\\\4y-1=4y-20\\\\4y-4y=-20+1\\\\0\\eq -19

No, we cannot find for its length as we can see that variables got cancelled so, we are not able to find any value for 'y'.
