There comes a time when the cup of endurance runs over, and men are no longer willing to be plunged into an abyss of injustice where they experience the bleakness of corroding despair.

what kind of figurative language and tone is used from this line?

figurative language:

Cup of endurance, plunged into and abyss, bleakness of corroding dispair.

Tone:

I personly feel as if the tone meant to be portraied here would be kind of like a warning tone. as in when someone is warning another saying "there will come a time in your life when you may not be as fortunant."

Hope it helps
