Israelites worship the God of Israel: Yahweh. They are considered to practice the religion of Judaism. Although they are dispersed all over the world, a great number of them live in the country of Israel. The country encompasses territories which are known as "The Holy Land" by 3 religions: Christians, Islam, and Judaism itself.

All of the countries surrounding Israel are Arab countries where the predominant religion is Islam. This has caused numerous tensions between Israel and these countries throughout the years.
