Basically, the question is (x^2 / x - 1) / (3x^2 / x + 4).
simplify parentheses first. x^2 divided by x = x thus...
(x / -1) / (3x / 4)
now the x cancels out...
(-1) / (3/4)
= (-1) / (0.75)
= -1.334
I am pretty sure this is how to do it, but I think it would be wise to double check with someone.
