The new pressure is 315.17 ml

Calculation

The new pressure is calculated using Charles law formula

that is V1/T1 = V2/T2 where,

V1 = 375 ml

T1 =78 °C into kelvin = 78 +273 =351 K

V2= ?

T2 = 22 °c into kelvin = 22 +273 = 295 K

make V2 the subject of the formula by multiplying both side by T2

V2= T2V1/T1

V2 =[(295 K x 375 ml)/351 k] = 315.17 ml
