Do you believe that experiments should use animals? Always, sometimes, or never? Based on what you know about ethics, what is your opinion about the appropriateness of animal testing?

Sometimes because how else would we know the experiment would actually work. If we didn’t use animals we would’ve know how things would react.

Although many claim that animal testing is the safest way to test the safety and functionality of medicines, cosmetics and other products that will be used by humans, we cannot consider these tests to be ethical.

This is because, as you may already know, a research with living beings requires that these beings authorize and wish to participate in the research freely and spontaneously, since the research can generate unpleasant side effects. Animals are unable to authorize the manipulation of their bodies in favor of research for the benefit of humans. This is because animals feel pain, fear, insecurity and suffer all the side effects that some products can cause.
