The leaders of each city-state were guarding the land for the god that owned it. Sounds like politics for the modern day world, right?


The cities were built around a main temple. The buildings closest would be government buildings. Then there would be homes.


Religious

They were polytheists, meaning they believed there was more than one god.


They believed in demons that could be good or evil.

For intellectual, they have art work that portrayed their life that's usually made if clay. For technological, they did metalworking, glass making, textile weaving and even had a system for crop irrigation! There's economical system was trade based and usually revolved around crops, goods, and services. Hope this helps!
