The advantage of using pluripotent cells over multipotent cell is that pluripotent cells possess the capacity to give rise or differentiate into all various types of cell that constitute the body. An example of such cell is embryonic stems. The cells can also be replicated outside the body such as in a laboratory which is more likely to be rejected by the immune system.
