An art teacher has 4/5 gallon of point to pour into containers. If he poured 3/8 gallon of paint into each container until he ran out of paint, how many containers had paint in them, including the one that was partially filled?

Divide 4/5 gallon by 3/8 gallon:

Note that 32/15 yields 2 2/15. Thus, 2 containers received 3/8 gallons of paint each, and 1 was partially filled (with 2/15 gallon).
