Pretend that you are a newspaper reporter and you're going to write an article about animals that live in the mangrove forest.

Choose one animal that lives in the mangrove trees, one that lives among the trees, and one that live among the roots.

Barnacles, oysters, mussels, sponges, worms, snails and small fish live around the roots. Mangroves water contain crabs, jellyfish and juvenile snappers, jacks, red drums, sea trout, tarpon, sea bass, snook, sea bass. The only sharks and barracudas are babies. Ferns, vines, orchids, lilies, terns, herons, plovers, kingfishers, egrets, ibises, cormorants, snakes, lizards, spiders, insects, snails and mangrove crabs thrive on land or upper parts of the mangrove plants. Hope this helped.
