m = - 13

Combine the fractions on the left side of the equation

The lowest common multiple of 4 and 3 is 12

(3(m-3)+4(m+4))/(12) = - 7 (multiply both sides by 12 )

3m - 9 + 4m + 16 = - 84

7m + 7 = -84 ( subtract 7 from both sides )

7m = - 91 ( divide both sides by 7 )

m = - 13
