solve it like a one step equation for all of them. For example on 8 you would simply subtract 12 on both sides of the sign. To graph (quick trick) since the sign is < you simply add a line to see where it should face for example.
< ....... <- so the line would go to the right. Lastly to know where if it's open or closed circle if the number it's on is a solution ( has a line under the sign ) you color the circle in . Otherwise you dont.
