3/5 - 1/3 what is the answer to that problem can some one help me ?

Hi!

You need to find the common divider, so you can subtract them, in this case, it's 15.

(3*3)/(5*3) - (1*5)/(3*5) = 9/15 - 5-15 = 4/15

Explanation:


(3)/(5)- (1)/(3)

First, multiply by the numbers and denominators. 5*3


5*3=15


(9)/(15)- (5)/(15)

Then, you subtract by the number that came from numerator. 9-5


9-5=4

Answer:
(4)/(15)
