f(g(x) =

put in the function g(x) in for x in the function f(x)

f(g(x) = 2(g(x)) +3

substitute 5x-6 for g(x)

= 2 (5x-6) +3

distribute

= 10x -12 +3

combine like terms

= 10x-9

f(g(x) = = 10x-9
