What Social/emotional skills would you focus on teaching and how?

I would teach about the gains that someone can get from a dissapointment, which can he shown that you can learn from your mistakes and get better, i would teach this by challenging students with something that they are barely familiar with, and have them build on the little knowledge that they already have
