Help....

solve, using linear combination.

3x - y = 4
2x + y = 6

a. ( 3, 0 )

b. ( 0, -4 )

c. ( 2, 2, )

d. ( -1, -7 )

add the 2 equations
3x+2x-y+y=4+6
5x=10
x=2
now that we know x we can sub it back in one of the fisrt equations that we had
3×(2)-y=4
6-4=y
y=2
so the answer is C
